FAQ's

When should I contact you to discuss the flowers for my event?

It depends on your wedding date. For the busiest times of year (May/June and September/October) the earlier you contact us the better. 8-10 months before your wedding date is usually sufficient to secure our services. However, quite often our clients will contact us to begin the process up to 12 months before the event, some even 2 years ahead. Because we book an extremely limited number of events don’t put off calling us too long.

What is your service area?

We travel up to 1.5 hours out of the Central Valley Area for normal event set-up floral only jobs! As you may have noticed, we a Preserve Studio Company, so if you are looking into doing a destination wedding or an elopement in sand dunes or hiking 3 hours up a mountain, we do that do with the additional service of Photo and/or Video packages. 

Do you offer other décor items besides flowers?

Yes! We are happy to offer a wide variety of rental decor items for exclusive use of our clients.  Including variety of vases, several styles of candle hurricanes, large pillars, stone and metal urns, copper pipe arbors of different shapes and sizes. Currently we do not offer wooden arbors or farm tables, furniture, etc. BUT! We can help you find a vendor in your wedding area if you decide to work with us!

I live out of town/away on a crazy trip in mountains for 8 months with no cell towers.  Can I send you a retainer to hold my wedding date on your calendar and then meet with you closer to the big day to go over the details?  

Absolutely!  We require a retainer to hold your date (credited towards your balance). We can then solidify details and make decor choices when it is convenient for your schedule.

Do you guarantee specific blooms?

No, and no florist can! Mother nature decides what crops make it and which don't, so there are times when some of the selections you make are not available on the day of. Don't worry, our farmers and us choose comparable items to keep the same style and color pallet of your order. 

Have you worked at my venue before?  

Maybe, maybe not. But we love trying new places! Whether we have worked there 20 times or have never heard of it, we can work anywhere. Depending on the complexity of your order we may need to do a site visit prior to your wedding date. If we do, we would be happy to do a site visit with you for a minimal meeting fee.

Can I make half my arrangements and you make the other half? 

We do not allow any other florist, professional or not, to create arrangements at a wedding. We do however have some exceptions to that rule - please inquire for details!

I feel like I will need help choosing flowers and designs, do you offer full design services and/or make suggestions to me?

Of course! This is our forte, not yours. We can help you make choices and/or can assist in designing your entire wedding day!

Do you deliver flowers or arrangements for smaller occasions?

Unfortunately at this time we do not, we are boutique florists and work out of our home to create your masterpieces, we don't have a floral storefront.
